Day 1-

I got to the airport early and got through with the security check and proceeded to the boarding gate. My friends were in the VIP lounge because they upgraded their flights. I was in economy class all the way. When I got on the plane my friend evidently changed his seating assignment to have his own row of seats to himself. Someone else took his place and I didn't have any elbow room. It was a long 10 ½ hour flight to Taipei. From there we went on the 3 ½ hour flight to Bangkok. We landed at the new Suvannahumi airport. It was a long walk to immigration. The lines were really long at the passport control. It seems that I picked the slowest moving line of all. It took over 30 minutes to get through that process. When I got to the luggage carrousel it was already finished loading. I picked up my bags and my friend did the same. We changed some money for Thai bahts. The exchange rate really dipped since the last trip in April. It's now at 36.26 to the dollar. We caught the free airport shuttle to the transportation center and then we took a public taxi from there to Pattaya. The fare was a set 1300 bahts. The taxi was small and our 2 check in bags filled up the trunk. The rest of the carry on bags went on the front seat. It took almost 2 hours to reach Pattaya. We got there at around 8:00 pm. My friend was feeling the effect of motion sickness from the traveling and he decided to take the night off. I went out after getting myself unpacked. I didn't want to unpack completely since the hotel told me that they will change my room in a couple of days and I'll be relocated to the old wing. I was feeling tired from the effects of jet lag but I did managed to make it to the Soi Pattayaland area. I walked into All Girls Agogo and had a singha beer. That tasted good even though I was half asleep already. The girls on stage were on the average side. Gone are the tequila girl and the raffles. Next I went into Crystal Girls. There I bought a couple of dancers a drink to have some company. Here the girls still dance when it's their turn even though a customer buys them a drink. My next stop was Misty's. This agogo is a little larger than the other two but the selection is about the same. Wild West Agogo is now a boy's club so I passed on that place. I hopped into the Kitten Club and it was pretty slow in there. The girls were aggressive but they wore kitten masks over their eyes and I see why. When they took it off they sure looked better with them on. I quickly finished my beer and walked out before I get stuck with one of the sub par girls. It was getting close to 2:00 am so I

decided that I'd better head over to the Walking Street area. I stopped into The Sea Agogo and there were a good amount of dancers in there. They were sizing me up since it's getting late. A girl quickly comes by to introduce herself. She's about average in looks but I found out that she's a ripe age of 30. That's a little on the older side for an agogo. After looking at the time on my watch I decided that I might as well take this "experienced" dancer as I may need all the help I can get because of my jet lag and excessive drinking. We caught the baht bus back to the hotel and then I was beginning to feel the effects of the lack of sleep. She tried her best but I couldn't get myself going and finally let her go so I can get a much needed sleep.

Day 2-

I went to get my cell phone repaired at Top's. It cost me 750 bahts including a sim card. Now I'm a true hard core tourist with my cell phone. We did the usual such as going to the money changer, eating breakfast, and the other routine business that you do on a trip. For dinner we ate at Fuji's Restaurant at the Big C. Our first stop was one of the Soi 2 beer bars. We killed a little time there and then it was on to the Walking Street area. The baht bus is still 10 bahts for the short ride there. We stopped into the Secret club and it wasn't my cup of tea but it was packed. Next we went into Beach Club which features table top dancing. It was also packed in there. We had to share the table with other customers. After that we walked into Taboo further down Walking Street. It was a little slow in there and some of the dancers were wearing their Halloween costumes since it was Halloween night. From there we headed into Angel Witch. They feature non stop shows in there by their rock dancers. It was also standing room only. We all split up from there since it was getting late already. I headed into Super Girls looking for my date for the night. The girls on stage weren't too energetic so I moved on to Super Baby. I finally spotted a girl that I could take out. While talking with her she wanted me to take out her sister so we can all go to Hollywood Disco. We all rode on the sister's motor bike to the disco. There was no cover charge and the Heineken were 150 bahts each. We only stayed there less than 30 minutes and we saw the sister off. My date and I was able to get motor bike ride back to my hotel for 60 bahts. I decided I needed a little help and took a cialis pill. It worked like a charm.

Day 3-

I started the day with breakfast, went to the money changer, and bought some more water. As the morning progressed I started feeling terrible. I think either I came up with food poisoning or the old cialis pill I took is affecting me. I started to feel really sick with bouts of vomiting and watery diarrhea. I was also nauseated, dizzy, and had a stomach ache. I ended up going to the pharmacy down the road to pick up some medication for my symptoms. I couldn't eat lunch due to my upset stomach. I pretty much stayed in my room the whole day. I ended up skipping dinner due to having more vomiting and diarrhea. I didn't go out this evening so I will miss my night out. I stayed in bed the entire night.

Day 4-

I didn't get much sleep last night. I just tossed and turned all night long. I got up to take a shower. I'm still having diarrhea but at least the vomiting stopped with the medication I'm taking. I'm also taking electrolytes to replenish the nutrients that I'm losing to my diarrhea. I didn't have much of an appetite but I did eat half of my cream chicken soup for lunch. My stomach is still very tender. I went back to my hotel room to rest some more. I stayed in my room until dinner time and I ate in the hotel's restaurant. I had the cream chicken soup there also. I couldn't eat much more yet. I decided that I still felt under the weather so I went back to my room and passed on the night out. This is my second night of staying in prisoner in my hotel room due to sickness. Tomorrow is my final night in Pattaya and I hope I can recover or else this will end up becoming a wasted trip.

Day 5-

I'm still feeling the effects of my sickness this morning. I've had a lot of rest but I'm still feeling a rumbling bloated stomach. I decided to see if I can eat some solid food today. I ate the early morning breakfast special at Top's for 45 bahts. I was able to eat the food without vomiting. My stomach is still bothering me but I continue taking the medicine from the pharmacy. I went to the money changer and the internet café to catch up on my e-mails. I went with my friend later on to do some shopping before the Walking Street area. I bought a couple of collar type shirts from Mike's Plaza for 200 bahts each. We ate at McDonald and then went back to the hotel to rest up a bit. I called my other friend and then we all met at Top's for dinner. We ate at the upstairs Chinese style restaurant called Coca. I was able to eat 2 small plates of food. We decided to check out Walking Street side first. Our first stop was Heaven Above. It's a small club on the second floor with average dancing girls. Our next stop was a Super Girls Agogo because the guys wanted to see the 2 girls I bar fined 3 nights ago before I got sick. Yes, they were dancing and I ended up buying them each a drink. I wasn't interested in taking them out again tonight since this is my last night in Pattaya. We then walked next door to Naughty Girls and they had a couple of shows in between the dancing. There were some prospects in there but I wanted to get rid of the one that was bugging me. We then checked out the ever popular Happy Agogo. Lots of gorgeous dancers on stage but they seemed too spoiled to me. I had to flip off the hostess that kept asking me to buy her a drink. She didn't look that great to me. We then slid into Living Dolls Showcase and it was crowded in there being a Friday night. Not much of a chance to meet a girl in this place. We ended up splitting up for the night after 12:30 pm. I quickly ducked into Paris Agogo. It's really small in there and an aggressive 40 year old dancer grabs a hold of me. I ended up buying her a drink but I really wasn't interested in one that age. All of a sudden she leaves me which is fine since she sensed that I wasn't interested in her. My stomach is really rumbling now so I have to keep an eye out for the locating of a toilet. I finally ended up a The Sea Agogo. This is where I picked up my first girl of my trip. Sure enough she joins me for a drink. I let her dance a little bit while I contemplate on whether to pick her or not. it's getting late and I need to wake up early tomorrow morning for my taxi ride to Bangkok so I decided to take her. We headed for my hotel but she didn't know that I changed rooms. My first attempt at romping her ended in a failure but I quickly recovered a was able to finish off. Now I'll only have 3 hours of sleep before I wake up for breakfast in the morning.

Day 6-

Woke up early in the morning to eat the breakfast special at Top's. I went to the internet café after breakfast to catch up on some business. After that I went back to my hotel room to finish packing up to check out of Flipper House. I'll be heading to Bangkok for my final night in Thailand. My taxi arrived right on time. I hop in and off we go to Nana Hotel. We made a pit stop at a gas station to use the restroom and get some snacks. We finally reach the hotel after 2 ½ hours on the road. I checked in to my room and unpacked a few things for my night out. I decided to stay in my room instead of doing some last minute shopping. After resting a few hours it was time to get my welcome drink at the hotel's bar. After drinking a mai tai I headed out to Soi 5 to eat at Foodland. I walked back to my hotel because the safety deposit boxes were are taken when I checked in. They said to come back after 8:00 pm to see if anybody checked out so I can take the safety deposit box. I was in luck as somebody was checking out as I was inquiring about a safety deposit box. Now I'm ready to go out to Nana Entertainment Plaza. My first stop is upstairs at Rainbow 4. Lots of dancers on stage and the club is starting to fill up fast. It's a little early yet so I went downstairs and walked into Playskool. By the looks of things in there it was slow and the reason for that is the lack of quality dancers. I was hustled immediately by old, over the hill dancers that I'm trying to get rid of. No prospects inside here. I went over to Hollywood and it was also slow with below quality dancers in there. I hesitantly bought an aggressive old dancer a drink. She was pressuring me into taking her but I'm not that drunk yet. It's getting late now and I have to get up early tomorrow morning for my flight home. I cross my fingers and walked into Rainbow 2. It was packed in there and I ended up getting stuck in the corner of the bar. I had a bad angle to the stage but I had to keep trying to pick up my girl for the night. I finally attracted the attention of a young dancer and she came by for a drink. It didn't take long for her to bring up the "pay the bar" line. She wanted a little more than I wanted to pay but it's getting late and it's my final night so I take the offer of 2000 bahts. After the girl left my room I went to sleep and woke up at 5:00 am for breakfast. The breakfast buffet doesn't open until 6:00 am but I don't want to wait since I wanted to leave for the new airport as soon as possible because it's my first time at this airport. I ended up eating a breakfast set and then check out. I took the taxi from Nana Hotel and they charge 680 bahts for the ride to the airport. I got to the airport and the check in lines for economy class were long. I finally got through the line and picked up my boarding pass. From there I paid the 500 baht departure tax and went through passport control. Then I went to the security check near the gate and as you go into the waiting lounge for your flight they take your boarding pass and give you the stub with your seat assignment. I was lucky and had an empty seat next to me. In Taipei I caught my connecting flight and I also got lucky with an empty seat beside me. I had a short one week trip but I was unfortunate to be sick for a few days and under the weather for my remaining days in Thailand. I hope I stay healthy for my next visit to LOS.
