Day 1- I got off late at work so I didn't get any sleep last night. My alarm rang at 3:00 am but I was already up and eating my breakfast. I freshened up a bit taking an early shower before I started gathering my unpacked items into my suitcase. I left at 4:30 am so that I'll arrive at my workplace by 5:00 am so I can park my car and then walk to the airport departure with my luggage. I checked in and went into the VIP lounge. I waited there until it was time to go to the gate. There was a short delay before we took off. I was delightfully surprised that I had an open seat next to me where I sat in the middle row of 4 seats. There were 2 others on the other end of my 4 seat row. Otherwise the plane looked full and maybe I had one of the few individual open seats in my cabin. It sure feels more comfortable not being cramped with passengers next to you especially if they go to the bathroom a lot, with crying restless kids, people that squeeze into your space, or otherwise obnoxious and rude passengers. The flight was relatively smooth most of the way with only an occasional turbulence that seemed mild. They didn't advertise the menu on the big screen like before so I wasn't able to know in advance what the meal choices were. For breakfast we had a choice of eggs or congee. I took the eggs that had thinly shaven ham, tator tots, fruit cocktail, and orange juice. The entree wasn't in that familiar alumimun tray like before but they use a black plastic container something like the ones that a TV dinner uses with a plastic film covering the entree. There's no salt or pepper packets with the meals anymore. For lunch before landing the choice was between beef with potatoes and chicken with rice. I took the beef which had crinkle cut potatoes, mixed vegetables, toss salad with tiny shrimp pieces (no salad dressing), roll, and guava cake. The meal was a little dry and could use some gravy but otherwise it was rather tasty and I ate all of my meals with no leftovers so that must mean it tasted OK. The connecting flight to Manila from Taipei was a different story but more on that later. The flight arrived a little later than scheduled taking 10 hours 41 minutes to reach Taipei. I was looking at my watch and there was less than an hour before the connecting flight's departure time. I got off the plane and was directed to take the train to the other terminal so that means taking more time to reach the gate. Upon arrival at the other terminal I had to go through security again and then I went up the escalator to the gates. I looked at my watch and it was 1:15 pm already and the boarding begins at 1:20 pm. I rushed into the Dynasty lounge for a very quick snack of beef noodle soup, some dim sum, desert bars, and a can of Asahi beer. I finished that off in record time as I hurried to the departure gate. When I got there around 1:30 pm I found out that they haven't started boarding yet so I was relieved as I know you have to board the plane early if you want to have a space in the overhead bin as the Filipinos are bringing home lot of pasalubang items on the small commuter plane. In a couple of minutes they announced the pre-boarding and I showed them my gold card and was on the plane and secured my openhead bin space. Then came in the rest of the passengers and filled up the plane. The passengers were squeezing in their bags and other items into the overhead bin and forcing them into whatever little space that was left. I think my carry on bag was squished as they were cramming everything into the bigs. If you have any fragile or delicate items you'd better not put it in the overhead bin on this Manila flight as it will be damaged by the way the people were stuffing their baggage overhead. The flight was less than 2 hours to Manila. The dinner we had didn't come with a choice as the flight attendants had to rush the meal service on this short flight. The entree was some kind of breaded fish mixed with peas and carrots with a dark gravy with rice. There was fruit contain with mostly pineapples, orange juice, and poppy seed cake. The entree was spicy as usual for meals originating in Taipei. I didn't care for this entree due to it being too spicy for me. I was seated near the front entrance a few rows behind the beginning of the economy class so I was able to get out quickly from the plane and head straight for the immigration check. I was there quickly and made it to the luggage carousel before the luggage came out. I was delighted when I saw the dynasty tagged luggage come out first so I was able to get my bags quickly. I went to the customs agent with nothing to declare and they questioned me about my bags and box asking what I had in the box and if I had any electonic items to declare. I said no and off I went. Supposably you have to declare all electronic items that you bring with you into the country and that includes anything electronic like laptops, dvd players, i pods, pda, cameras, and etc. I think they just want to collect duty from common items that tourists bring with them. To me this is just a rip off and if they catch you bringing in something and you don't declare it you will pay a duty plus a penalty, and possibly confiscation of the items. After clearing customs I went to the money changer and changed $200 into pesos at the airport rate of 46.90 pesos. I went outside of the arrival area and walked across the lanes to where the sign says "arrival extension" and walked to the area with the alphabets for your name. I was told in my instructions to stand by the "W" letter for my pickup. I soon spot my driver across the street holding up a sign with my name on it. I waved to him and he came over and gave me the hotel's business card identifying him as my driver from the hotel. He took me to his car and off we went to Angeles City. There was a special celebration going on in Manila today (Jan. 9) and the main street to the expressway was closed and there was a huge traffic jam on the alternate route. Instead of going through EDSA we tried the Manila approach but there was also traffic there as well. The event was Quiapo church and lots of people were all over there watching the celebration going on. We were lucky and they opened up our side of the street and we slowly crept passed the Quiapo church while the lanes going in the opposite direction was still closed to traffic. We finally got passed the log jam and headed to the expressway with little traffic and made up the lost time. We arrived in Angeles City in about 2 hours so that was good time considering the traffic jam in Manila. I got off the taxi at the hotel and gave the driver a tip and I was able to charge the taxi pickup to my room bill. After checking in I unpacked and freshened up for my night out. I was out of my room by 8:00 pm and walked over to Margarita Station for a bite to eat. I had the club sandwich special at 140 pesos. The main meal was rather expensive at 280 pesos so I didn't take that. After my dinner I went into Honey Pot as they still had a happy hour while the rest of the clubs were finished already with their cheap drinks. I see why Honey Pot was void of customers even though they still had a happy hour. The dancers were on the low end of the scale. I was surrounded by the waitresses as I was passing out some chocolates. I didn't see anything in there that I would like to take out. After an hour of torture watching non-bar fine candidates I left and walked into La Bamba. The talent wasn't any better than Honey Pot so I was bored inside talking to the waitresses that gathered around me begging for some chocolates and lady drinks. I left the bar and went into Voodoo next. It's a small bar with a slight improvement in the dancer department. Their dance uniform is less revealing because they are not wearing bikinis or g-strings. I wasn't able to connect with any of the dancers as I had a bunch of waitresses around me asking for more chocolates. A bag of chocolates doesn't last long in the bars of Angeles City. It's after midnight already and no prospects so I decided to go to the big time bar Blue Nile. Inside it was packed with SRO (standing room only) and literally hundreds of dancers with many looking very good. It seems that the Blue Nile has the market on the better looking dancers but with that comes the attitude that the girls think they are hot stuff and they act that way, too. I couldn't find any room downstairs so I walked up stairs for a better view of the dancers on the hydraulic stage. There were so many dancers up there but the customers are so far away it's a wonder how someone can hook up with a dancer if you can't even get close enough to get their attention. After about 30 minutes upstairs I decided to come back when it's a little slower and I left. It's so busy there that you can get away without buying a drink because the waitress can't keep up with all the customers. I walked into Tropix next as they were having an Aloha Friday party there since it was Friday night. The owner of the Dollhouse group of bars which includes Dollhouse, Tropix, Atlantis, and Crystal Palace comes from Hawaii. I was offered a lomi lomi massage but I passed. I sat down with some waitresses giving them the last of my candy that I had with me for the night. I watched the dancers on stage and the non-spot light dancers were very average in the looks department and I was sitting at the back of the bar on the more comfortable booths so I wasn't able to get a close up look at the dancers. The spot light dancers were dressed with body paint over their boobs and wore bikini bottoms so at least you can get an idea of how her breast looks like even though it's painted over. I relented and bought the waitresses drinks-all 4 of them. I had one on each side of me that wanted me to bar fine them. They were a little more older than the average girls in the bar. One was 23 with one kid and the other one was 28 with 2 kids. They were just average in the looks department but it was getting close to closing time so I had to make a decision rather quickly. I finally decided on the 23 year old waitress. I paid the 1350 peso bar fine (the spot light dancers bf is 3000 pesos) and went back to the hotel. After the deed she got dressed so I guess it turned out to be a short time. I only gave her 200 pesos tip as I was expecting long time from her. I've noticed that the girls since 2003 are making up excuses to go short time instead of the standard long time for Angeles City bar girls. With this short time I won't see this waitress again or at least take her out again as this is my policy in Angeles City- I don't bar fine a girl again if she short time me because in Angels City the girl is expected to stay until the morning.

Day 2- I didn't get to sleep until around 4:30 am so I decided to catch up on my sleep. I finally got out of bed abount 12:00 noon even though I still feel the effects of jet lag. I showered, shaved, and got dressed. The first thing on my agenda for the day is to get a hair cut. I went to an airconditioned barber shop on Field's Ave. and was able to get a hair cut for 60 pesos. I gave the barber 100 pesos to include a tip. I went into Margarita Station to check out their dinner special and it was Mongolian BBQ at 185 pesos. If I don't go to the Dog House meeting at 6:00 pm today for 600 pesos for dinner and all you can drink for 2 hours then I'll just eat at Margarita Station. For lunch I went into Chow King just passed the money changers on Field's Ave. and ordered fried rice (it's called chao fun in here) and won ton with noodles and soup. It's a light lunch but filling for me. I then went into the internet cafe for 2 hours to catch up on my e-mails and such. I then went to JJ Market to buy some water. I exchanged some dollars for pesos at a higher rate today at 47.20. I then went to Action Travel to book a room at Executive Plaza for my final night in Manila on Saturday. I'll get the confirmation on Monday. I went back to my room as it was getting close to the starting time for the Dog House meeting and party at Lollipop. I took a quick shower and got dressed for the evening. I walked over to Lollipop but the lights are turned off so I thought the bar was closed but the manager was there with one door girl and I showed them my Dog House membership card and I got 50 peso discount off the 600 peso entrance fee. It was packed inside the Lollipop & Ziggy's side by side bar. I shared a big table with some other members. I watched the special shows as well as the house dancers on stage. I was entertained by one of the Lollipop dancers and bought her a couple of lady drinks to enjoy her company. I was in there for about 2 and a half hours drinking as much rum & coke as I can in the 2 hour time frame of the party before they open the bar up to the public at 8:00 pm. They had some kind of lasagna with 2 slices of french bread for dinner. I've noticed that some customers didn't finish their meal so I guess this entree wasn't too popular with them. I forced myself to finish the meal because I didn't want to waste the food. I think I had about 4 or 5 rum & cokes that night so I'll be drinking soft drinks the rest of the night so I don't pass out on my bar hops later in the evening. The dancer that was with me at Lollipop was an older babae but she was slim with no kids and rather small on top. I was tempted to bar fine her early but I wanted to see if I find some younger babaes first. I departed Lollipop and then headed for Typhoon to check on a waitress for my friend who didn't come on this trip. I walked in a spotted the waitress right away and sat in her section. I bought her a drink and she recognized me right away. I told her that my friend wanted to give her a picture that he took of her on the last trip. I relayed some messages to her from my friend. I talked to a few other girls in the bar and they all wanted me to bring more chocolates the next time. I was able to get some pictures of the girls but I had problems with my digital camera and used my spare film camera instead. I later found out that I forgot to flip up my flash on the digital camera. Am I that brain damaged already from the rum & coke? I bid a farewell to the staff at Typhoon and then proceeded to Lancelot to see one of the Mamasans that I know from years ago. Inside I talked to her and gave her a gift as a token of my friendship. She introduced me to one of her girls and we hit it off pretty good. She's 18 years old and from Davao City in Mindinao. I later found out that she's menstrating now so I'll have to come back a few days from now to bar fine her. My next stop was Carousel. It was busy in there so I had to see on the counter that's in front of the rotating dance floor. I was starting to get motion sickness from watching the stage rotate in front of me so I didn't stay too long and didn't quite have enough time to look for a dancer. I then went into Brown Sugar to look for the cherry girl that I met on my last trip in July. I was told that she's not working now and I know why. I was having e-mail communication with me and a month ago she told me she was sick and couldn't work but I was hoping that she'll be back at work when I returned to Angeles City. I went into Camelot next and I couldn't make up my mind on which dancer since I couldn't get any eye contact with the dancers I liked because of my bad angle of view due to no good seats available at the time. I was way in the side corner and didn't have a good view of the dancers and they couldn't see me either. I left there and now it's getting around 1:00 am and past the witching hour. I hate to be in the hunt this late at night because you have to lower your standards in order to find somebody before the bars close. I walked inside Crystal Palace and they have their spot light dancers on the dance floor right now. I didn't waste my time on these 3000 pesos girls. After about 30 minutes other spot light dancers came on the dance floor and now it's past 2:00 am so I decided to leave here and check out one more bar before calling it quits. I entered Atlantis asking for the dancer that I had last time but she's not working now. I sat down with the waitress and she pointed with a laser to a really nice looking dancer on stage. I asked the waitress to call her but the dancer refused and waved me off. I was rejected by a dancer and at this late time at night it was a real blow. I should have figured that a maganda babae with a hot body at this late at night meant that something is wrong. Either she has a boyfriend already, she's very picky with her customers, or she's really stuck up and has a high standard. The waitress felt sorry for me so she said that she'll find a nice girl for me. She showed me a girl and she looked acceptable so I said OK. She wanted to order a gatorade which I know from the last trip is double lady drink price at 250 pesos. I decided to agree to the high price drink because it was now or never to find a girl for tonight. It was past 3:00 am already so I sealed the deal and paid the 1350 pesos. We went straight to the hotel room because it was really late already. She ended up being a major disappointment as she came out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her clothes. She finally took off her clothes and I can see that she had stretch marks and her susu wasn't nice. She didn't want me to kiss her susu so I was beginning to realize that this is not going to be an enjoyable evening. She laid down and had me do the work. She asked me to go faster so I assume that she wanted me to finish quickly. After the deed she washed off quickly and got dressed. Another short time again and I won't see her again because of that. I still gave her some gifts and a tip even though I didn't want to because of the poor service. I hope I have better luck tomorrow.

Day 3- I didn't get to sleep until 6:00 am because of the late night bar fine that didn't turn out for the good. I will start out with a fresh slate today. I met an old waitress friend from the old Temple of Rock back in 1993 which is where I joined the Dog House and went through initiation rites. This lady is really old now and it really shows. I had her meet me at my hotel at noon and she showed up on time. I gave her some gifts that I wanted to give her and we talked for a few minutes. After that we went on our own way. I headed straight to SM Mall for my lunch. I walked across Field's Ave past Roadhouse and proceeded past the Jollybee on the side street a block away. I was thinking of eating inside this Jollybee as I knew the one inside SM Mall would be crowded with no seats but I walked past the outside Jollybee and walked across the street which I think is 1st Street and then I walked through the parking lot with the jeepneys and then went up the walkway that leads to Clark SM Mall. I walked inside and to Jollybee and of course it was packed inside so I didn't want to eat there if there's no seats open. I went past McDonalds and they had a couple of open seats but I can eat at McDonalds anytime back home. I walked around and looked at Karate Kid and I ended up eating there. I had the 2 piece yakitori sticks with rice and a kido punch for 79 pesos and I also ordered a mango mousse for 30 pesos for dessert. The meal was really delicious and and cheaper than Margarita Station or Kokomos. I walked around the mall and checked on prescription sunglasses but they only had transitional lenses so I just got a quote only. I bought some pasalubong at Daisey's which is a small kiosk next to Goldilocks in the mall. I then went upstairs to check on the movies and found that there are 3 English movies and 3 Tagalog movies. The 3 movies showing didn't really interest me which were The Spirit, Bedtime Stories, and a Roll & Roll horror movie. If I'm bored then maybe later in the week I'll go to the movie anyway even though the movies suck this time. I checked out Kenny Rogers Roaster restaurant for a possible dinner depending on what kind of special Margarita Station has tonight (Sun). I walked back to Field's Ave and went into the internet cafe for a couple of hours. I then went to the money changer to get some extra pesos to pay for my hotel and taxi to Angeles when I check out. The rate is 47.20 again but will probably change tomorrow but I don't know in which direction. I walked in Margarita Station and looked at the specials for tonight. They had spaghetti with garlic bread for 169 pesos and chop suey with rice for 96 pesos. I went back to my hotel and got dressed for the night hoping that I'll have a better night than the previous 2 disaster nights. I ended up eating the chop suey special at Margarita Station. It was still happy hour time so I walked into Roadhouse to listen to their rock & roll music. The happy hour at Roadhouse consist of 2 for 1 drink price. I ordered San Miguel Light and I received 2 bottles right away. The only thing bad about being served 2 beers at the same time is that the second beer will be warm by the time you finish the first one unless you chug the first one down quickly. I called one of the dancers that was playing around on stage as maybe this is an indication that she may be fun to have a drink with. The lady drink is still the standard 150 pesos here. She drank her drink a little faster than I would like and I had to buy another one for her. By the time she finished her second drink happy hour was over so I decided to leave before she drinks me under the table. I entered Dollhouse after showing the door girls a picture that I had taken from the last trip at Heart Breakers. I found out yesterday that the waitress in the picture was working at Dollhouse. Sure enough she was working there and I gave her the picture and said hi to her. I stayed in Dollhouse for an hour but most of the time the show girls (ie-3000 pesos bf) were on stage. The regular dancers only made a brief dance stint during my stay at Dollhouse. I decided to stop wasting my time at these show girls type of club that the bigger clubs seem to have nowadays. I liked it better without the show girls as I wouldn't pay 3000 pesos for them. I went into Byrd Cage and called a dancer down for a drink. I found out that she had menstration as a lot of girls seem to have or maybe they are just saying that because they don't want to go with you. It's hard to believe that so many girls are on menstration at the same time. I didn't see the BC Mama inside either. I decided to have a drink in Las Vegas and was disappointed that they had the show girl theme, too. I had to wait almost an hour before the regular dancers appeared on stage for a few minutes and then the show girls took the stage again. I had enough of this show girl bars and walked over to near Kokomos and was deciding whether to go into La Bamba or Rhapsody. I finally decided to give Rhapsody a try even though they have a party on Wednesday I'll see what they have inside. It eventually became a good choice. I walked inside Rhapsody and sat down next to a waitress who served me. It wasn't long that one dancer who wasn't dancing at the time came by me and I took a look at her and said "come on over" as she looked pretty good, slim, sexy, and smiling. She didn't hustle me but I still bought her a drink and she told me she really like me and that she turned down 2 other customers a short while ago because she saw me enter the bar. It's like a dream come true when a really nice girl comes by and introduces herself. Usually it's the ugliest and fattest ones that approach me and I know then I'll have nightmares but this girl was just right and she was really horny, too. She did a lap dance for me coached by her friend on how to do it correctly. She was on top of me making me horny, too. It didn't take long for her to tell me she wanted to go to the hotel room as she's very horny now. I took the cue and paid the barfine plus her and the waitresses' drink. We walked to the room and it didn't take long to get to the action. She gave me a very good bj (my first one this trip) and we did it in multiple positions. She was really moaning and told me she came twice which really made me feel good. She was a little hungry so I ordered room service for some shrimp fried rice. I shared the meal with her. We finally went to sleep and I was planning to get some more sugar in the morning but I woke up feeling sick. I had a mean headache, dizziness, sore throat, and general weakness. I don't know if it's the shrimp fried rice (she ate it, too, but didn't get sick) or the air conditioner being on all night. I drank less last night than the other 2 nights as I didn't stay out as late so it can't be that. She was worried about me and told me to get some medicine and eat something. We left sometime after the noon hour and I walked with her to Orchid Inn and she took a left while I went right to head to Field's Ave and the pharmacy. More on this to follow.

Day 4- Continuing from where I left off, I woke up sick and I said goodbye to the girl I had last night for long time (my first one this trip) as I went to Manson Drugs on Field's Ave to get some medicine for my condition. They gave me Alaxan FR and told me to take it 3 X a day every 8 hours. I think it's some kind of Ibuprofen capsule. Being sick messed up my plans for a Perimeter Road bar hop today and going to Clark SM Mall to have dinner and buy some pasalubong to take home. I'll also have to stay away from alcohol tonight and maybe the next night if I'm still feeling sick. I won't be able to use my 2 for 1 drink coupons that I got from the Dog House meeting on Saturday. They were good for La Bamba & Rhapsody which are owned by the same owner. I also didn't answer any of the phone calls & text messages that I got from my old girl friend from Champagne as I was sick and wasn't ready for her. I'll send her a text a little later. I don't know how she found out that I was in town. I guess Angeles City is a small town and word gets around pretty fast. I then walked into Chow King nearby and ordered the won ton with coke special for 49 pesos but I ordered 2 orders of this because I think it's best that I drink some soup for my condition. They gave me 2 bowls of won ton and 2 cups of coke. I took the medicine with my meal. I bought some more water at JJ Supermarket to hydrate myself and treated myself to ice cream. I exchanged money again and the exchange rate is still the same at 47.20. I found out later in the afternoon that the exchange rate jumped to 47.50 but I already changed my dollars at the lower rate. I looked at the special at Margarita Station and it was Mexican day and they also had pancit canton for 97 pesos. I went into the internet cafe to catch up on my e-mails and the latest world news. I went back to my room but it was ready yet so I decided to stop at one of the afternoon bars for a quick drink at the Body Shop on Real Street which was the old Black Jack. For an early afternoon shift the dancers weren't really bad at all unlike Welcome Inn which I don't understand how they can stay in business for over 15 years with no customers. I bought a drink for one of the dancers and had a conversation with her. I had my eye on a different dancer but somebody quickly snap her up. After an hour I went back to my room and started getting ready for the evening. I am to meet my old girl friend that I met way back in 1999 as she's still here but taking some time off before going back to work at Champagne so I don't have to pay a bar fine for her. I was to meet her at 6:30 pm but as you know that the locals are on Filipino time which is about 30-45 minutes late so I was standing outside of Orchid Inn until she arrived. I ate the pancit canton special at Margarita Station and told her that I had 3 boxes of chocolates to give the Mamasans & manager at Champagne. She told me that she'll go back home until 8:00 pm and meet me at Mixes Boutique. I went inside Champagne and the Mamasan greeted me right away and bought me a drink. I gave her and the other mamasan and the manager the boxes of chocolates that I had with me. One of the dancers that I knew from before is working at Champagne and she came by and I ended up buying her a drink. The bar is pretty full with a crowded dance stage and the girls are mostly average in looks nothing outstanding. I've heard that the quality of dancers are on the downhill here as the Blue Nile is scooping up all the better looking babaes. I left Champagne at 8:00 pm turning down the request of the girl to bar fine her but I already had my girl friend that I'll be meeting now at Mixes Boutique. It turns out that the girl is not at the meeting place yet so I text her and she said she'll be there shortly but shortly turned out to be 30 minutes later. After she finally arrives we walked to the check point jeepney station and got on the jeepney to Friendship. The fare has gone up to 7.50 pesos now and you buy the ticket at the station to give to the conductor after you board the jeepney. We got off the jeepney at Star Gate since I remembered that it's the best bar on Perimeter Road for dancers and inside interior. They also have better bathrooms than the other bars on this road. The talent on stage is OK with a few lookers. They offer a pool table with free play so I played 3 games with my girl. The only bad thing about this pool table is that 2 of the walls are way too close to the table and you cannot make a lot of shots against the wall unless you use their half size stick. The price of a drink here is 60 pesos for standard drinks and 100 pesos for lady drinks compared to 95 pesos for standard drinks and 150-250 pesos for lady drinks on Field's Ave. Now I see why all the expats drink on Perimeter Road and there are new small bars opening up along the road now. We left and then hopped on a jeepney to Lost in Asia and the dancers inside are substandard compared to Star Gate. The bathroom is yuck with only a trough instead of a urnial. It was now 12:00 midnight and the Perimeter bars are closing up. We went outside and the next door bar Roadies is already closed. Next door is Saikai which is a Filipino bar with dancers that sometimes come on stage either in sexy outfits or topless or bottomless. I think this is the only bar in Angeles City that has this type of entertainment and the regular tourists bars are not allowed to have any type of lewd shows and can be closed down if raided. The dancers appear one at a time on stage here for only 1 song each. There's a 2 song break between dances so most of the time you only here music and you have to wait 6-7 minutes beween dancers which is a lot of downtime. The drinks in here are 100 pesos with no cover charge. You have to leave your cameras and cell phones with the guard before entering. We then caught the jeepney back to check point and then she tells me that she will go back home and see her daughter first before coming to my hotel. I waited for her at the hotel's lobby for 30 minutes and it was late already at 2:30 am then she text me and said that she's sorry that her daughter is crying for her to stay home so she won't come to my hotel. What a blow. I wish she had told me a lot sooner that she won't stay with me. Now I have to do an emergency run for a girl at this late hour and I know the pickings won't be good at all and they have more say in the rules when it's close to closing time. A lot of the bars have closed already at 2:00 am and the 3:00 am bars have just closed the door a little early. My choices are really narrowed down and then I just decided to head into Camelot and I quickly picked a dancer hoping for the best as I don't have much time before closing at this late hour. I was able to seal the deal but with a lot of give backs. First she said that she will have hygiene early in the morning and that she can only go short time (this is the first time that the girl actually admitted that she wanted short time as my first 1 bar fines on this trip didn't tell me in advance). I agreed since I knew the situation was dire as the other potential girls that I met earlier on bar hops have went home because their bar has closed for the night already. We went back to the hotel room and she quickly takes her shower and then it was my turn. She kind of rushed me as I can see she was ready to leave. I know I shouldn't give gifts to the girls that short time me but I guess I'm too kind hearted. I also gave her a nominal tip. I know a lot of guys don't give tips for short time but I think the girls still expect tip no matter how bad the service. I took a look at my eye that I accidentally hit with the door's flip lock at eye level. It had bled earlier and it's still red and a little swollen. I hit it while opening the door for my previous night bar fine from Rhapsody as she wanted to check on me because I was sick. I was thinking about seeing her again but I just ran into a previous bar fine from a year ago that also works there so I have to avoid Rhapsody on this trip unless I go to that WoW event there on Wednesday night. It's also a little chilly here in January as I should be wearing my jacket while walking around at night. It's hard to imagine it being cool here in the Philippines but then again this is winter and prime tourist season because it's not hot now. I didn't get to sleep until 5:00 am this morning. I need to get more sleep.

Day 5- It's past the half way point of my trip already and the first 4 days went by fast. Except for one night with the Rhapsody girl I've been having bad luck with my bar fines as most of them occur late in the wee hours of 2-4 AM. I need to get the girls earlier but somehow I get caught up with the show girl bars and I'm not paying 3000 pesos for a bar fine except in Manila as it's the going rate there. The exhange rate went up to 47.70 today and I exchange some more dollars before it goes back down. After a lengthy internet session I went to Clark SM Mall to have lunch before going to a movie. After my internet session I walked past a money changer while going to the mall and it went back down to 47.60 quickly but I needed to exchange some more money so it wasn't really that bad. I ate the spaghetti and hamburger special meal at Jollybee. I was lucky that there was a lull in business so I was able to find a seat. The meals are reasonable here and an alternate to McDonald's. I noticed that there was only 2 English movies and 4 Tagalog movies playing this week at the theater complex on the second floor. I went to see Bedtime Stories and it probably was the better choice of the 2 movies available for non-Tagalog speakers like me. After the movie I bought some more roti which is a coffee bread that's the rage in Malaysia. It' pretty good even though I don't drink coffee but the taste is addicting. I'll probably be going there daily to try the fresh bread right out of the oven at Michelle's. I'm still feeling a headache, dizziness, sore throat, coughing, congestion, and general weakness and the pills that the pharmacy gave me isn't working that great. It's only reducing my fever a bit but at least I still have my appetite. I ate dinner at my favorite restaurant at the mall. It's called Kenny Roger's Roaster and they are famous for their rotisserie chicken. I had the healthy classic chicken special with light ice tea. A quarter section of chicken, all vegetable salad with dressing, mini cornbread, and a fruit salad completes this selection. It's a good value and healthier than the meal specials at Margarita Station. The service is good there at Kenny Roger's and there's ample seating in this fast food type of restaurant. I think I'll be going there tomorrow night, too. I got back to my hotel after 6:00 pm abd it was getting dark already and it's really chilly with a brisk wind blowing that was making me shiver. It's surprising cool here in January and I wished I brought my light jacket with me to the mall. I had arranged to meet my girl at 6:30 pm tonight again and as usual she's on very late Filipino time so I decided to catch an happy hour while I'm waiting for her. I just told her to text me when she's ready. I went into the Owl's Nest which isn't most punters choice for bar hopping but I think it's not bad for the small group of dancers there. They didn't look that bad but not quite on the quality of the Blue Nile girls but there were some I wouldn't mind taking out. After an hour I still didn't get a reply from my girl friend so I went into another bar at Bunny Ranch. The waitresses wear those funny looking playboy bunner ears and outfit but they don't compare to the real playboy bunnies that Hugh Hefner has. The stage is really long and no matter where you sit in the club it's hard to see all the girls because of the extended dance floor. Some of the girls looked decent but I'm still waiting for my girl to text me. Finally at 9:30 pm she texts me that she's waiting at Eager Beavers after I waited 3 hours for her to get ready. We went inside Eager Beavers since she saw a friend nearby and didn't want to appear that she was with somebody. The drinks inside Eager Beavers is a little less maybe they had an extended happy hour tonight. They still have the pool table and it is busy with players and smoke. The stage is small with only a handful of dancers that was mostly average looking. It's not my favorite place to stop in. After leaving the bar we walked over to the Korean owned Agasya Club and only Asians were inside. I wonder why? They had show girls dancing on stage most of the time and of course nobody except the rich will bar fine these girls. The regular dancers appeared on stage briefly and then it's back to the show girls again. My girl friend went to the bathroom and she was approached by one of the dancers and she asked my girl if I'm her boyfriend and she said no that I was just a friend so this dancer wanted to meet me and have my girl friend introduce her to me. My girlfriend came back from the bathroom and told me the story but I can tell that she's not too happy with that but she's in a good mood so she didn't show any moodiness. Shortly the dancer walked by and wanted to introduce herself to me. She wanted to have a drink with me and was holding my hand and looked really excited. I was watching the reaction of my girl from the corner of my eyes and she acted coolly. I told the dancer that maybe next time I'll stop by and buy her a drink but I was leaving already. She's a show girl so a bar fine is out of the question. She was OK and probably be fun to be with but I already had a date for the evening and I don't want her to get upset. We then caught a trike to go to the Diamond subdivision to Dunk Shot which is a strip bar like Saikai but a lot better as far as having continuous dancers in various stages of undress. It's a Filipino club and 90 percent of the customers being Filipino and the rest Asian. There's no cover charge but the drink prices are steep at 150 pesos each and a 2 drink minimum per person so they bring 2 drinks right away and you sign a tab. My girl friend was enjoying the entertainment and there even was a comical act with Filipino male entertainers in the middle of the show but it's in Tagalog so I didn't know what they were saying. Most of the dancers seem to have implants as their breasts looked large and pointed with no bounce to them. I wanted to leave an hour ago but my girl was so into watching the dancers in the nude. After about 3 hours I finally told her it's past 2:30 am and I'm getting tired so we caught a trike back to the hotel for 70 pesos. We had a session together before going to sleep rather late again. She had to get up early to make breakfast for her daughter. I gave her a little cash to buy something for her daughter. She made plans to meet me at Dollhouse tomorrow night at 8:00 pm for the special photo shoot taking place on Wednesday and I don't want to miss it. There's also a WoW party at Rhapsody from 6-8 pm but I'm not sure if I'll go to that as I'm still feeling sick.

Day 6- I woke up early at 7:00 am as my girl had to go to see her daughter. I gave her some gifts and told her to give a box of chocolates to her daughter before I run out as I only had 14 boxes with me and I'm down to my last ones already. I bid her off and rested awhile longer but there's activity around the hotel so I really didn't get into a deep sleep. It was past 12:00 noon already and I woke up feeling sick again with dizziness, headache, sore throat, congestion, and feeling really tired. I haven't had alcohol for a couple of days so I don't have a hangover but I know what that feels like. I may try to go to SM Mall and find another pharmacy that can give me some antibiotic as the stuff the Manson Drugs gave me isn't working that good. It only reduces my fever but doesn't do anything for my other symptoms. I walked over to Chow King and had their won ton noodle soup special again. I was shocked when I saw the exchange rates make a steep drop today to 47.10 pesos. I was going to exchange some more money but I'll wait until the afternoon to see if the rate improves or not. I went into the internet cafe again but I see why there's an advantage of having your own laptop as you can e-mail in the comfort of your own room and not sit on the uncomfortable seats in the cafe especially when I'm sick. After the cyber dose I walked over to Clark SM Mall even though it's windy and chilly outside at 3:00 pm. I wanted to get some more medicine and eat dinner there. I made it to Clark SM Mall and went straight to Picture City to have my digital pictures printed so I can give them out to the girls tonight. It's rally slow waiting for my number to be called so I can get my pictures into the system for developing. After 45 minutes I finally got help and they told me to come back in 30 minutes. I went to Watson Drugs nearby and got some more medicine with them giving me decolsin capules. I hope this works better than the other one I had. I'll probably finish the old one first and start this new pills tomorrow. I had dinner again at Kenny Rogers Roasters and had the healthy chicken plate again. It was surprising that the order taker at the fast food restaurant knew what I was going to order. After eating the healthy meal I went back to Picture City and had to wait a little longer for my photos to be finished. By the time I was able to pick it up it was one hour already so what happened to the 30 minute service? I went back to my hotel room and it's really chilly and windy at 6:00 pm and starting to get dark. I quickly got ready for the special shows that they have on Wednesdays at various clubs over here. I first took a look inside the WoW event at Rhapsody that runs from 6-8 pm but I didn't get there until 7:00 pm and the club was jammed packed with SRO so I passed and went to Roadhouse which has a special finger foods on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-8 pm. They had tuna sandwiches as well as ham & cheese sandwiches, deviled egg, and spring roll. The spring roll is really good when it's hot and I think I had extra servings of the spring rolls. It's also happy hour time with buy one take one. Of course I had to drink Cali since I have to avoid alcohol because of my sickness. The dancer I saw last time came around and she still drinks fast so after she finished her second drink I decided it was time to go before my bill gets too large. It's 8:30 pm now and I headed straight for Dollhouse for their Wednesday body paint photo shoot that's suppose to start at 8:00 pm but I was told that it actually starts at 9:00 pm. All the good seats in front of the stage were taken already by customers with fancy cameras so they probably are the regulars. I had to sit way in the back against the wall and probably out of flash range. I figure that you have to come early to stake your claim to a good seat as you can get unobstructed clear shots of the dancers at close range without anybody walking in front of your camera in the aisle. I had big problems trying to get shots as I was out of range and my camera had a very long delay no matter what setting I put. Almost all of my pictures were bad and I had photos of empty space, blurry pictures, the backs of the dancers, people walking by, and in general wasted pictures. I won't be here next week so I'll have to remember the next time to come really early for a decent seat in a future visit to Angeles. After the show I left and went into Typhoon to give away pictures that I took of the girls inside. I didn't have the harem around me this time. Next I went into Byrd Cage to give the girl her picture but after that she went back on stage and ignored me the rest of the time I was inside. I didn't see the BC Mama this time either. I took a look inside Alaska since I haven't been inside there yet this trip. They have some dancers in there and they make it easy to tell who's the cherry girls. The cherry girls wear the red outfit and the non-cherry girls were green. As usual the cherry girls looked better than the other girls. I don't think I want to waste my time with a cherry girl unless I'm on an extended trip and need to rest my titi (boto). One customer bought all the dancers hamburger meals complete with fries and coke from the nearby Jollybee. So I'm under the impression that the bar is casual. I see the papasan walking around greeting the customers. The dancer in green (non-cherry) with big susu was showing her assets and they look good and I was tempted to meet her but I wasn't sure if she was friendly or not. I went inside Angel Witch next door to Roadhouse and the dancers and wigs on. I had spotted a dancer on stage that I wanted to check out but a minute later 3 guys at the table in front of me call down 3 dancers and she was one of them. Another lost opportunity again. It's getting around 2:00 am now and I need to make my move soon. I went into Lancelot remembering that the Mamasan introduced me to an 18 year old from Mindanao but she had menstration at that time and told me she'll be finished by Wednesday. Today is Wednesday so I asked for the girl and I was told it's her day off but the Mamasan called her and in a short period of time she walked in and greeted me. She was dressed in a nice outfit showing some cleavage. I bought her a drink and talked for a short period of time. Even though she's off I still have to pay her bar fine and it's 1500 in the Champagne group of bars which include Lancelot, Champagne, Camelot, and Brown Sugar. We went back to the hotel and she talked up a storm and it was 4:00 am already and I decided that it's time for some honey. I was really tired by this time and it really showed. After I gave up because I was tired she showered and said she has hygiene this morning at 7:30 am and it's 5:00 am now. I bid her farewell and I finally got to sleep. I had a hard time getting up in the morning as I'm still sick but I'll try my other pill after lunch.
Day 7- It was past noon and I had to get up even though my body was saying no. I was dizzy with a splitting headache. Normally I would feel like this if I over indulge in alcohol but I haven't had any in 3 days. I took a shower and went downstairs to the lobby to book my bus to Manila on Saturday. I decided to give the new bus service of Southern Cross shuttle a try. They pick you up at 12:30 pm at the hotel. I bought 2 tickets as my old girl friend said she wanted to go to Manila with me. I went to Margarita Station to eat a bowl of chicken soup hoping that this will help me with my sore throat. I took the new medicine and will have to wait a day or two for the verdict. I went to the souvenir shop in back of Margarita Station and bought a large size jeepney replica for 360 pesos. They had miniature ones for 120 pesos but the bigger one looks better. I walked past the exchange booths and the rate went up slightly to 47.40 so I may try to stop by later in the afternoon to exchange some dollars. I went inside the internet cafe across Margarita Station to check on my CAL mileage and the seating chart. After that I walked over to Clark SM Mall to look for some more pasalubong to take home. I'm still feeling sick with some more new symptoms such as burning sensation in my nose/sinus when I breathe and I'm starting to get the runs. I went to Jollybee for dinner and ordered the regular yum burger combo. I had a hard time trying to finish the meal as my appetite begins to wane. This is a little disturbing as it's a sign that I'm getting sicker so I headed back to the hotel even though I couldn't finish the small meal. I walked back very slowly like an old man because I'm suffering from my sickness and it's a struggle to get back to my room. When I arrived at the lobby of the hotel I ask for the clerk to reconfirm my return plane trip home since I didn't feel like calling up the airline myself. I went upstairs to my room and rested in my bed for a few hours going to the bathroom because of my runs. About 7 pm my old girl friend text me saying she ready to go out so I just replied to her to meet me in my room. She came up and was surprised that I'm still sick so she said she'll help me get better. She called room service and had them bring up some ice in bowl and a small towel. My girl friend cooled my very hot body with the cold towel treatment but it was torture when the cold towel touched my overheated body. I took some tylenol and the pill from the pharmacy as well. I also took some imodium AD for my runs that was making me dehydrated. I later ordered chicken soup from room service but the soup that they had was the creamy chicken type that I didn't care for. I wanted the traditional clear broth style like they had at Margarita Station. I ate only less than a quarter of the soup and then went back to the bed. It was getting late now and I decided to just stay in the room for the night and not go out. I needed to get some rest to help me get better. My girl friend stayed with me through the night. I didn't get a constant sleep because I kept getting up to use the toilet because of my runs and to drink more water. I had my girl friend go to JJ Supermarket to make a water run for me since I ran out of water already. I was sweating a lot during the night but my body temperature did come down a bit which I hope is a good sign. I'll have to buy some electolytes tomorrow at the drug store for my dehydration.

Day 8- This is my last night in Angeles City and I don't know if I'll be able to do anything tonight. I've been sick most of the trip with each passing day I am getting sicker. I have had alcohol in 4 days and I haven't had any suk suk in 3 days. This looks like my worst trip to the Philippines so far. I hope that I will be able to travel to Manila tomorrow without too much suffering and also to be able to handle the flight home on Sunday. I had a long rest last night and this morning but I don't really feel much better. I took some more imodium and tylenol for my runs and headache. I'm hungry now but I have no appetite. I didn't want to take my medicine on an empty stomach but I took it anyway and I felt like vomiting and my stomach was sore for a few minutes after taking the pill. My girl left after the noon hour and I had to take a shower and get ready to go out and try to eat something as well as buy some hydration salts. While shaving I cut my chin a little deeply and it wouldn't stop bleeding so I had to put a band aid on it to stop the bleeding. I went downstairs to the lobby and checked on my plane's reconfirmation and it was already confirmed. I walked to the Manson Drugs and bought some electrolytes and they gave me 3 packets of hydrite rehydration salts. I went into Margarita Station and wanted to order the spaghetti marinara but they told me that the sauce isn't the red meat sauce but instead they use a white seafood sauce so I passed on that selection. I ordered the thai fried rice at 105 pesos for a small portion. I poured one packet of the hydration salts into a glass of water and mixed it up well. I tasted it and it was really awful in taste. I forced myself to drink most of it until the fried rice came. I still didn't have my appetite back yet as I was only able to take a few nibbles of the fried rice and couldn't eat anymore. I'm still hungry but I just don't have the desire or stomach to eat anything right now. I hope this doesn't cause me to get weaker. I went across the street to the internet cafe for a quick session. After the internet session I walked back to my hotel room being that it's 5:30 pm now. Shortly my girlfriend came to my hotel room with her overnight bag as she's going with me to Manila tomorrow. I'm still sick so I didn't go anywhere tonight. I only stayed in my room with my girl friend. She was a little disappointed that I was still sick but she brought some fruits for me to eat and a bottle of gatorade to help with my dehydration. I still had no appetite so I just tried to drink mostly fluids like water and the gatorade. We enventually retired for the evening and I set my alarm for a 9:00 am wake up time.

Day 9- I woke up at the sound of my alarm clock ringing at 9:00 am. This is my cue to get ready for my bus ride to Manila today. I ordered the complete breakfast meal with bacon, eggs, toast, tomato, cucumber, home fries, and hot tea through room service for 210 pesos. It's expensive but I figured that I didn't want to go downstairs to the restaurant in my condition. I guess I didn't have my appetite yet as I only took a few nibbles of the bacon and eggs and drank only the hot tea. I couldn't eat the rest of the breakfast so I know that I'm still sick and barely able to move around. I packed up my belongings and loaded up with imodium and took some tylenol for my headache. I checked out at 12:00 noon and paid the hotel room bill. The pick up for the Southern Cross shuttle isn't until 12:45 pm so I waited with my girl friend inside the lobby. The shuttle van picked us up and dropped us off at the Brass Knob a short way down on Perimeter Road. There we waited for the Southern Cross bus to show up and when it came I was surprised at how small it is compared with the Fly the Bus. My girl friend went inside before me and luckily she did as she got the last 2 seater in the bus at the rear. The bus is really small with (5) 2-seaters and (4 ) single seats with the back bench seat seating 4 people across. That totals 18 seats but we had 20 passengers so the extra 2 persons had to use the fold down seats in the aisle (there are 5 of these fold down seats) on the bus. We proceeded to Manila and it took us 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the Southern Cross Hotel in Ermita which is only half block away from Swagman. There was a pit stop along the way for a bathroom break. I wasn't impressed with the Southern Cross shuttle bus because the bus is small, no room for luggage (only about 3 of us had large luggage), the air con sucks, but otherwise there was enough leg room and wasn't that bumpy of a ride. After getting off the bus my girl friend suggests that we walk to Executive Plaza Hotel. We started walking and she's walking ahead of me since I was lugging my large wheeled suitcase and carrying my hand carry bag, too. I had to maneuver between the sidewalks, the streets, dodging traffic and dogs, crossing intersections, and finally reaching our hotel. I was drained lugging all my belongings with me that I don't want to do that again. It's not worth saving a few pesos for all the stuggling I had to go through with my luggage. I checked into the hotel and had to put a deposit of 3000 pesos for the room. The room rate is 1950 pesos. We went up to the hotel room and I unpacked what I needed and then showered and rested a bit before we went out to Robinson's Mall to have dinner. We walked around and finally settled on the Karate Kid on the 4th floor. I ordered the chicken ramen but I was only able to eat some of the noodles but I couldn't handle the soup. The couldn't eat the small chicken cutlet either. My stomach is still rumbling but I can't eat solid food. We went downstairs and walked around looking for our Pedro Gil exit. Along the way near a narrow section of the aisle near a shop a group of females suddenly just stopped right in front of me and I had to stuggle several seconds to get through. They look like they were in their 20's and stopped to chat or something like that. I didn't think much of that. I quickly had to catch up with my girl friend as she was way ahead of me by now. She didn't know that I got stuck back there. As we went by the exit the same group of females blocked my way again but this time I noticed that I've seen this group before back in the aisle earlier. I had to squeeze by again and finally made it through the exit and now I with my girl friend again. I noticed that my hand bag (shoulder bag) is partially opened. Now it's starting to add up. I think they are a group of pick pocketers that was after me and my valuables. I took a look inside my bag and didn't notice anything missing. The only thing I had that was valuable in my bag was my PDA but I didn't realize that I still had my traveler's checks inside my hand bag but they didn't take it or maybe they didn't see it. I didn't have a wallet in my back pocket so that was good. I had my small bills in my front pocket but it was still there and I had some larger bills in another buttoned down pocket in front but it was also still there and my cell phone was still in my bag, too, so I consider myself lucky not to have lost anything to those pick pockets females. My camera was in my other front pocket but it's hard to pull out as it's rather large and it was still there too. Where was my girl friend when I was being potentially victimized? I thought that she was suppose to watch out for me since I was sick. We went back to the hotel and I ate an apple and a tangerine that my girl friend brought from her home. We watched TV and then later went to sleep. I had a 6:00 am wake up in the morning. I was lucky that had set my alarm at 6:00 am as I didn't get the wake up call from the hotel. I took shower and got dressed had a tangerine and we checked out at 7:30 am. We went outside and got a passing cab who used his meter. Being that it was Sunday the traffic was really light and I made it to the airport in 15 minutes. I said goodby to my girlfriend and gave her some money and paid the cab fare. She continued to the public bus terminal. I went through the outside ticket check and then when I got into the airport lobby I was surprised to see how long the line for the economy check in was. It was a mile long and it would take well over an hour to get checked in but luckily I had my gold card and was able to walk right up to the dynasty check in station. They immediately told me that I was being upgraded for the flight to Taipei but I'll still be in economy class for my final segment home and that was as soon as they saw my name. I guess the flight was full so I was lucky to have the upgrade but I'm not sure if I'll be able to unjoy it in my lousy

condition. It's only a short 2 hour flight anyway. I went through immigration and paid the 750 peso departure fee and then went through the airport security. I went upstairs into the dynasty lounge and was able to eat some fruits and a mini blueberry muffin along with a glass of mango juice. The flight will depart around 11:00 am about 15 minutes late. I walked over to the gate and waited for the boarding announcement. I boarded when they called the Dynasty class passengers. It sure is comfortable sitting in business class especially when I'm still sick. I have an aisle seat in the middle row of a 2 seater. I was given a menu and looked over the 2 selections. The choices were stir fried chicken with rice and grilled beef tenderloin and I quickly decided on the beef. The tenderloin is served in a mushroom cream sauce with potatoes, apple frangipane cake with vanilla sauce, and fresh fruits which included grapefruit, honeydew melon, watermelon, and mango. I didn't eat the grapefruit because I'm taking lipitor and it's a no-no. The beef tenderloin was really soft and moist melting in the mouth and looked like a cut of filet mingon in shape. It was so delicious and my stomach was able to tolerate the meal this time. If I had been in economy class I've probably wouldn't be able to stomach the food. This was my largest meal in almost 4 days. I was really losing weight but at an expense of being sick and suffering. The flight was really short about 1 hour and 35 minutes as the pilot made up some of the delayed time. After the plane landed I caught the sky train to terminal 2 for the flight home. I only have about 30 minutes to spend in the dynasty lounge so I first headed for the soup counter and ordered the beef noodle. After eating the soup I went into the internet cafe to finish up some business. I then went to the boarding area realizing that I'll be in economy class on the long plane ride home. I boarded the plane when they called for gold card members and settled into my seat. I sat down and reflected back on my trip on how it slowly went down hill in the first half of my trip and how sick I was on my second half of the trip. Needless to say I brought back home a lot of unused condoms that I had planned to use in the Philippines. I hope my next trip to the PI is much much better and that I stay sick free. No fun when you're stuck in your hotel room only dreaming of what I would be doing at the moment.
