Bangkok-Nov. 1-4, 2002-Part 4

Well customs went smooth in PP. The Pochentong airport is such a small international airport about the size of the Ko Samui airport with only 6 gates and one holding area for passengers. I had the ATR-72 plane with Bangkok Airways in both directions. I wasn't able to get the jet plane on this excursion to Cambo. They served a hot meal of fish and rice. Not bad for a short flight of 1 hour and 15 minutes. The flight was about 30 minutes delayed and the immigration in Bangkok was a breeze. The public taxi line was very long looping to the wall and turning around back to the exit of the airport arrival area. It was about 6:60pm and rush hour, but no taxi as they are coming in one every couple of minutes. It took nearly an hour before I was able to get my taxi. The ride also took nearly an hour to Nana Hotel due to the traffic once you get off the expressway. The fare was about 170 plus 50 for the driver and with the toll charges it came out to 350 bahts. I just gave him 500 bahts since I didn't have small change. I guess I had to wake up my friend when I arrived around after 8:30pm. He was taking a nap as usual. We meet up with our other 2 friends. A friend of theirs from back home joins us and we drink at one of the beer bars next to NEP across the street from Nana Hotel until around midnight. My friend is starting to get anxious about looking for girls even though he said he wasn't planning on taking one tonight. I'm ready to check out the yings, too. We had a drink in Rainbow 1 and the selection is average. Then we go to G-spot home of the large breasted women (I think some had boob jobs). My friend gets the girls all excited as they expect him to bar fine them, but he said he's resting tonight. He seems to quickly grab the girls that I'm also looking at, too. I guess you lose if you snooze. Another customer grabs the other one I was trying to check out on the stage. We go and drink at Rainbow 2 and the selection isn't that great because it's getting near to closing time. We head into Playskol and the girls are starting to look worse as the night comes to an end. I try to drink a few beers to worsen my eyesight but I'm still feeling a little sick from the runs yet. I finally make a desperation try at Hollywood. Not much in there, but I'm desperate as it's 1:55 am. I talk to one of the girls on the stage and make a quick transaction. Normally I wouldn't take a girl in the 3-5 range, but I had no choice already. She was all business and wanted to finish as quickly as possible and made fake groaning sounds to get me to come faster. I guess it worked and I figure I will try to do better tomorrow night.

The next day we did some shopping in a different area of town that our 2 friends knows about. It sounds like it is the Pratapong (spelling?) area. I picked up a bunch of t-shirts and polo type shirts. My friend had to buy a new suitcase as his handle broke on his suitcase and he can't retract the handle back down. I hope to do some serious bar hopping tonight and not waste time having a drinking contest with all the guys unless if it's only for a couple of shots. I want to get some quality instead of the usual pick one out at 2am routine after all the good ones have already been snatched up by the punters. I’m still feeling the effects of the diarrhea so I try not to do any traveling for the time being until the nightly quest. After dinner at the Bus Stop on Soi 4, we head out to Patpong to check it out via the sky train. It as busy as ever. Our first stop is Camelot’s Castle again. After checking out their talent, we next go into one of the other King’s bar. The better dancers were getting snatched up quickly so we all decided to head back to NEP. I separated from the group after 1 am and went solo for the next hour checking out most of the first floor gogos and finally went upstairs to the G Spot. It was getting close to closing time again and I finally settle on a last minute pick as my first choice was on her period. I didn’t get one of those nom yai girls as there was only one left at that time of the night and her’s obviously looked fake. I also tend to avoid blondes as they remind me of the witches back home. I realized that I made my poorest choice of this trip with the G Spot girl. She changed completely back at the hotel room and I wanted to send her packing as her attitude had changed for the worse. Finally she left and my ears are feel much better after all her ranting and raving.

This is my final night in LOS. After the breakfast buffet, I decide to go over to a nearby pharmacy and pick up some antibiotics for my runs that never seem to go away. Later in the afternoon my friend wants to go and check out the river. I reluctantly agreed to go along even with my feeling a little sick. We take the sky train to Saphan Taksin. There the Chao Phraya River was roiled and flowing swiftly. The docks were rocking deeply and rapidly. I was starting to get sea sick waiting to see if my friend is still going to go on the boat ride or not. He’s still deciding on which one of the boat rides is most cost effective and I’m here feeling the motion sickness on top of an upset stomach and a headache. I finally tell my friend that I’m in no shape for a boat ride and I’ll take a rain check for a future date. He then changes his mind and decides that we should check out the driving range off the Ekkamai stop on the sky train. We get there and find out that they don’t rent out golf clubs for hitting the balls. From there we go back and agree to meet at the Bus Stop again for dinner. After our meal, we head out to Soi Cowboy and again we go into Suzie Wong’s. Our other 2 friends went into Black & White. I didn’t get to see the shows at Long Gun & Tilac, as the guys were ready to head back to NEP. Everybody was prepared to make it a short night as our flight tomorrow leaves early in the morning. As you guessed, I was still out making my last minute search for the perfect ST partner near closing time. I went into every gogo on the bottom floor except Red Lips. That place seemed to be slow everytime I peeked inside. I finally go into Playskol and find a cute dancer that seemed friendly and bought her a drink. Looking at my watch I realize that it’s already 1:45 am and I’d better seal the deal. I guess I redeemed myself, as this girl was more like what I’m used to. She was friendly, pretty, charming, and spoke fairly good English. She turned out to be my best choice from NEP on this trip. I wake up the next morning after only a couple hours of sleep and get ready for my trip back home. Even though I stayed about 2 weeks here, I still didn’t do all that I wanted to do or see. I never got one of those soapy massages or had a drink in the beer bars of Soi 7, 10, and Zero. I didn’t make the boat ride because of my aggravating and endless runs. What I did accomplish was taking my initial trip to Phnom Penh, firing an AK-47, driving a go cart, sanuking with Viet & Khmer women, having my first foot massage, and being conned by a tuk tuk driver. I can’t wait until I return in the near future for the next LOS experience.
